Top Android game apps:  NFL Flick  series reports sales spike

This week’s top paid titles are:
1. Where’s My Water? ($0.99)
2. Cut the Rope ($0.99)
3. Madden NFL 12 ($4.99)
4. Fruit Ninja ($1.26)
5. NFL Flick Quarterback ($0.99)
6. Osmos HD ($2.99)
7. Grand Theft Auto III ($4.99)
8. NFL Flick Kicker ($0.99)
9. Doodle Jump ($0.99)
10. Flick Golf! ($0.99)
EA’s Madden NFL 12 and Full Fat’s NFL Flick Quarterback and NFL Flick Kicker reported a sales boost in the week leading up to the Super Bowl, while Disney’s Where’s My Water? and ZeptoLab’s Cut the Rope remained the Android Market’s top overall sellers.
Osmos HD drops to sixth place after previously placing third, while Grand Theft Auto III falls from fifth to seventh.
Here are this week’s top free Android game applications:
1. Angry Birds
2. Words With Friends Free
3. Roller Ball
4. Line Runner
5. Fruit Ninja Free
6. Angry Birds Rio
7. Word Search
8. Bubble Shoot
9. Drag Racing
10. Angry Birds Seasons
Robert Szeleney’s Line Runner and Words Mobile’s Skee-Ball sim Roller Ball climb the free charts this week, challenging reigning champions Angry Birds and Words With Friends Free.
Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds Rio remain popular picks at fifth and sixth, meanwhile, as Runnergames’ Bubble Shoot enters the top ten ahead of Drag Racing at eighth place.
